History..
- 1825 (18th August): creation of the community of Gouarec, by swarming of the community of Guingamp, in order to take care of the education of the young girls and to serve the poor and the sick.
- 1927: installation of the community in his new monastery, rue St Gilles, placed under the patronage of St. Teresa of Avila for which the founder, Mother St. Melanie, had great devotion
- 1965: departure of a sister on mission in Burkina Faso, in Banfora
- 1995: the Community takes under its responsibility this foundation of Banfora (Maria Nellé)
